The RF Government has increased the quota for export of sunflower seed oil and cake. The decision takes into account the domestic market demand and is aimed to provide support for producers who will be able to export additional volume to the global markets.
According to the governmental decree, the quota for sunflower seed oil export has been increased by 400 thousand tons up to 1.9 mn tons from the earlier allowed 1.5 mn tons.
The quota for sunflower seed cake now makes 850 thousand tons, 150 thousand tons more than the earlier permitted export volume of 700 thousand tons.
The quota is in force till August 31, 2022.
