Delo Group’s Stevedores Handle 5% More in 2021

  • During 2021, the cargo throughput of the terminals incorporated into DeloPorts, the stevedoring asset of Delo Group, increased by 5% year-on-year amounting to 11.8 mn tons.

    Container traffic via NUTEP Container Terminal was up 12.1% year-on-year to 545.64 thousand TEU while the total container throughput of the Russian ports grew by 6.2%.

    The volume of grain handled via the Group’s KSK Grain Terminal in Novorossiysk declined by 6.1% year-on-year down to 4.8 mn tons while the total grain transshipment via the Russian seaports was down 13.1%.

    Ro-ro and general cargo traffic amounted to 95 thousand tons.

    Igor Yakovenko, CEO of DeloPorts, commented on the results: “The general growth of container transportation in the world and in the country, regulatory measures on the grain export market and other factors influenced our operating results”.
