New Port to be Built in Russian Far East

  • Sea Terminal Coalstar Ltd has developed a project to build a sea port in Primorsky Kray in the Russian Far East. The project is worth almost 60 bn rubles ($809 mn).

    The new facility to be called Aurora is to be developed in the settlement of Dunay in the Bezymyannaya Bay during 2025-2030. The annual port capacity will make 35 mn tons.

    The project also envisages developing new and modernizing the existing railway infrastructure.
