RZD Logistics’ Saratov-based branch has delivered bus parts for VOLGABUS GRUP from China to Volzhsky in Volgograd region.
The shipment was made by rail via the Zabaikalsk-Manchouli border crossing checkpoint on the Russian-Chinese border. The transit time made 18 days.
It was the first time the branch of RZD Logistics in Saratov organized delivery from Hebei Province in China. Rail transportation is getting increasingly popular as it offers predictable delivery time and better rates than shipping by sea, the company said in a statement.
