FESCO has acquired 9,000 new containers as part of its development strategy. With the new equipment, the Group’s container park will exceed 100,000 TEU, the company said in a statement.
3 thousand 40’ and one thousand 20’ units built in Dalian have already been delivered. In November, FESCO expects to receive 5 thousand 40’ units more.
The new equipment will be immediately sent for loading to Chinese ports for further transportation on board FESCO’s international services.
Earlier this year, FESCO acquired three hundred high-capacity 40’ containers for its railway reefer operator Dalreftrans.
