FESCO has acquired 300 new reefer containers for its subsidiary Dalreftrans which specializes on transporting temperature controlled cargo by rail. The reefers are to be delivered in Q1 2022.
This year, FESCO already bought 300 reefer containers for Dalreftrans. After the new batch is delivered, the company’s container fleet will consist of 2,800 units with a total capacity of about 4,900 thousand TEU.
The new containers will be equipped with a state of the art Carrier PrimeLINE refrigerating unit with a last generation Carrier Micro-Link 5 controller, which enables round-the-clock temperature monitoring and control.
The containers are also equipped with GPS/GSM, which allows of tracing their location and transferring data on the temperature inside it online.
