TransContainer will transport premium bottled water produced by Baikalsea Company from Irkutsk in Siberia to other Russian regions and abroad.
The Memorandum on cooperation signed by the parties at the recent Eastern Economic Forum envisages that TransContainer will provide regular transportation services for both domestic and export shipments of Baikalsea’s production across Russia and via land-based border crossing points and sea ports.
TransContainer is also to develop new multimodal logistic schemes for Baikalsea via Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company’s terminal in the port of Vostochny.
The company said it is prepared to use thermally insulated and reefer containers to carry mineral water, which has special transportation requirements.
