Bronka Signs Contract to Handle Volvo Cars

  • Fenix LLC, the operator of the Multipurpose Sea Cargo Complex (MSCC) Bronka in St. Petersburg, has announced signing a contract to handle and store Volvo cars with GEFCO Group.

    GEFCO has been a global logistics partner of Volvo Corporation for more than 15 years, and GEFCO Russia and Volvo Cars Russia started cooperating in 2010.

    The car carrier carrying the first shipment of Volvo cars came to Bronka in May. According to the port, more than 1,500 cars have been handled in Bronka since then.

    Prior to signing the contract, Volvo Car Russia and GEFCO held an audit of the port’s car storage facility.

    Bronka has been handling and storing cars since 2017, Alexey Shukletsov, Executive Director of Fenix, noted.
