Maersk Stops Calling Chornomorsk in Ukraine

  • Maersk has announced stopping calls at the port of Chornomorsk (formerly, Ilyichevsk) in Ukraine as from week 33 ‘till further notice as a part of our network optimization exercise’.

    The company will continue serving the Ukrainian market via the port of Pivdennyi (DPW TIS Container Terminal).

    The last call to Chornomorsk will be with m/v“Julius-S” voyage 131N with ETA on August 10, 2021.

    According to DPW TIS, the terminal handles some 75% of Maersk’s entire traffic via Ukraine.
