Rosneft has started building the Bukhta Sever oil port on the Taimyr Peninsula in Northern Krasnoyarsk Kray. 20,000 tons of cargo including construction equipment and vehicles has been delivered to Taimyr.
The first stage of the port is designed to handle up to 30 mn tons of oil. After phase two and three are operable by 2030, the capacity is to be expanded up to 100 mn tons.
