According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in 2020 Russia’s export of vodka made 2.3 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 2.8% year-on-year, physically, and $148.7 mn, down 7.6%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during declined by 6.5% year-on-year to exceed $2.8 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in 2020 decreased by 9.4% down to $56.9 mn.
In December, Russia exported 291.3 thousand decalitres of vodka, up 4.3% year-on-year and up 21.3% month-on-month, worth $20.3 mn, up 9.1% year-on-year and up 39% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in December was down 5.2% year-on-year and up 0.4% month-on-month to $328.6 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in December was down 1.3% year-on-year and up 94.7% month-on-month to $7.4 mn.
