According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, during January-November 2020 Russia exported 35.4 mn tons of ferrous metals, down 5.9% year-on-year. In terms of value, ferrous metals export declined by 16.5% down to $14.1 bn.
Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export was down 12.9% year-on-year to some 11.7 mn tons. In terms of value, it decreased by 23.1% down to $4.3 bn.
Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in January-November 2020 increased by 8.5% year-on-year up to 7 mn tons worth $3.3 bn, down 6.5%.
Cast iron export during the 11 months 2020 declined by 14.8% year-on-year down to 3.3 mn tons worth $1 bn, down 25.6%.
Ferroalloys export in January-November 2020 decreased by 10.4% year-on-year down to 676.8 thousand tons worth $814.4 mn (-28.8%).
According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in November 2020 ferrous metals export was down 26% year-on-year and down 21.1% month-on-month to 2.4 mn tons. In terms of value, it declined by 18.1% year-on-year and by 14.7% month-on-month to make $1.1 bn.
Intermediate iron and unalloyed steel products export in November 2020 was down 47.4% year-on-year and down 19.2% month-on-month making 708.1 thousand tons. In terms of value, it decreased by 42.3% year-on-year and by 17.2% month-on-month to $285.4 mn.
Iron and unalloyed steel flat section export in November 2020 was down 9.6% year-on-year and down 11.1% month-on-month making 568.2 thousand tons worth $294.4 mn (down 3.5% year-on-year and down 9.5% month-on-month).
Cast iron export in November 2020 made 102.6 thousand tons, down 69.7% year-on-year and down 62.4% month-on-month. In terms of value, it amounted to $32.7 mn, down 69.7% year-on-year and down 63.1% month-on-month.
Ferroalloy export in November 2020 was down 11.7% year-on-year and down 1.9% month-on-month to 62.1 thousand tons. In terms of value, it declined by 17.5% year-on-year and grew by 0.3% month-on-month to make $76.3 mn.
