According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-October 2020 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.8 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, down 2.2% year-on-year, physically, and $113.8 mn, down 8.7%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-October declined by 6.8% year-on-year to $2.2 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-October decreased by 8.5% down to $45.4 mn.
In October, Russia exported 234.4 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 11.5% year-on-year and up 9.3% month-on-month, worth $14.1 mn, down 17.5% year-on-year and up 17.5% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in October was up 2.6% year-on-year and up 24.2% month-on-month to $324 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in October was down 27.3% year-on-year and down 20% month-on-month to $2.4 mn.
