Russian Railways and FESCO have sent the first full bloc train laden with goods from Japan to Europe as part of Trans-Siberian LandBridge service jointly operated by RZD Logistics and FESCO.
Containers laden with a wide range of goods from medical equipment to chemicals were delivered to Commercial Port of Vladivostok from Japanese ports of Hakata, Kobe, Toyama, Yokohama on liner services operated by FESCO.
The block train left the port rail station on November 18 and now is en route to Brest, where it will be relayed onto the European standard 1435 rail gauge and the cargo will proceed to destinations in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
