In 2022-2023, Russia’s tall ship “Mir” is to make a circumnavigation as part of the country’s presiding over the World Maritime Day events and as tribute to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The organization of the voyage was discussed at a recent meeting in the RF Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport under the RF Ministry of Transport.
The vessel is expected to make a voyage of over 34 thousand nautical miles with maritime cadets on board.
