RZD Logistics has organized train delivery of sunflower oil from Yekaterinburg in Russia to Shanghai in China. The project was developed in cooperation with Rusagro Group in the framework of the Agroexpress rail service.
A container laden with sunflower oil was added to the transit block train from Duisburg to Suzhou in Yekaterinburg. The expected delivery time is 12 days compared to no less than 30 days by deep sea.
Agroexpress is a specialized train service offering rail delivery to China for Russian food exporters.
