FESCO Transport Group has launched a block train from Shenyang in Liaoning Province in China to Bely Rast transport and logistics center in Moscow region.
The first train carrying fifty 40’ units started from Shenyang on September 1. The service frequency will be twice a month, the target monthly traffic is 200 TEU. The transit time will make some 14 days.
This will be the first FESCO-operated container train service to arrive at Bely Rast, a joint project between Russian Railways and Port Liaoning Group.
The Bely Rast transport and logistics center includes a container/contrailer terminal with a capacity of up to 275 thousand TEU per annum, a universal storage and distribution center, an inert cargo terminal, three rail branches 1,050 meters long, and a container yard for 3.1 thousand TEU.
