TMS extends Awards deadline

TMS extends Awards deadline

  • The Maritime Standard has extended the deadline for nominations for this year’s TMS Awards to September 14th to enable as many companies as possible to enter in the challenging circumstances created by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Awards which are widely considered the most glittering and prestigious awards night on the shipping calendar, will have more than 20 general awards presented, in line with the recommendations of top quality and independent judging panel. In addition, there will be a number of special individual awards recognising the contributions made by high profile industry leaders and innovators.

Clive Woodbridge, chairman of judges, says, “We have already received a high number of nominations, of excellent quality, but we recognise that this is not a normal year and want to give everyone a chance to put their companies and organisations forward. By extending the deadline by two weeks, from the original September 1st deadline, we hope that anyone who wishes to enter will have the opportunity to do so. However, there can be no further extension, so my message is please don’t delay in getting your nominations in.”

The TMS Awards are now in their 7th year and in that time have earned a deserved reputation for being the highest quality event of their type in the region. The Awards regularly attract over 750 top level decision makers and policy setters not just from across the region, but worldwide.
