В Калининграде создадут мультимодальный ТЛЦ

Multimodal Center Project for Kaliningrad

  • A new multimodal transport and logistics center is to be developed in Kaliningrad Oblast in accordance with an agreement reached between the RF Ministry of Transport, the government of Kaliningrad Oblast and Russian Railways.

    The project envisaged a multimodal transport and logistics hub for export and import cargoes to/from Russia and transit cargo from/to Europe to/from the Asia Pacific region.

    The new multimodal hub will be developed utilizing the facilities of the existing Kaliningrad Transport and Logistics Center and Chernyakhovsk Transport and Logistic Center.

    The Kaliningrad Transport and Logistics Center is currently capable of handling 450 thousand TEU and 2 mn tons of cargo per annum and is equipped to load and unload containers, bulk and project cargo to/from the 1520 standard rail gauge from/to the 1435 standard gauge.
