According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-April 2020 Russia exported 3.9 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, down 11.6% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export dropped by 26.7% down to $707.4 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 3.4 mn tons, down 4.2% year-on-year. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export decreased by 25% down to $832.5 mn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-April 2020 declined by 11.7% down to 2.1 mn tons. In terms of value, it dropped by 28.6% down to $421.1 mn.
In April, potash fertilizers export grew by 31.5% year-on-year, and by 54% month-on-month making 898.5 thousand tons worth $172.5 mn (up 1.1% year-on-year and up 41.9% month-on-month).
Nitric fertilizers export made 768.5 thousand tons, down 32.4% year-on-year and down 40.8% month-on-month. In terms of value, it decreased by 39% year-on-year and by 35.3% month-on-month to make $140.9 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export in April declined by 39.5% year-on-year and by 39.5% month-on-month to make 659.1 thousand tons worth $165.4 mn, down 51.6% year-on-year and down 38.1% month-on-month.
