ВМТП получил новый Liebherr

New Crane Arrives at Commercial Port of Vladivostok

  • Commercial Port of Vladivostok has received a new Liebherr LPS (Liebherr Portal Slewing) 420 crane. The unit arrived on board the special purpose vessel “Regine”.

    It was purchased as part of the port facilities modernization programme underway in the port. The new crane is to be put into operation in April 2020 on Berth 9 of the Universal terminal.

    The crane has a hoisting capacity of up to 124 tons and a beam up to 48 meters. It will be the most powerful crane in the Commercial Port of Vladivostok’s fleet.

    Since the year start, the port has had 4 St. Petersburg-manufactured Vityaz portal cranes delivered. They are to be mounted on Berth 6 and 13 of the Universal terminal. The maximum hoisting capacity of each unit is up to 63 tons and the beam up to 40 meters.
