Icebreaking Period Over in St. Petersburg

  • By order of Harbour Master of the Big Port of St. Petersburg, w.e.f. March 16, the icebreaking period in the port is over as there is no ice in the port basin and in the fairways. The restrictions as to the ice navigation regime are lifted.

    In the Passenger port of St. Petersburg, the icebreaking period is also closed and the restrictions previously in force are lifted, w.e.f. March 16.

    The only restrictions remaining inforce are for the navigation of small craft, pleasure boats and yachts.

    Last year, the icebreaking period in St. Petersburg was announced over w.e.f. April 12.
