Russia’s NW Ports Container Throughput in November

    According to SeaNews’ PortStat online analytic service, in November 2019 container traffic via the Russian North-Western sea ports remained much on the previous year’s level (+0.5%). Export increased by 1.6%. Import was slightly down by 0.8%.

    Big Port of St. Petersburg

    Container throughput via the Big Port of St. Petersburg increased by 4.1% year-on-year. Import was up 6.2%, export up 2.2%.

    Ust-Luga

    Container traffic via Ust-Luga in November 2019 grew by 8.9% year-on-year. Export surged 2.9-fold. Import, on the contrary, decreased by 20.7%.

    Kaliningrad

    Container traffic via Kaliningrad declined by 22.5% year-on-year in November. Export was down 11.5% and import down 32.4%.
