According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the general cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-October 2019 amounted to 46.4 mn tons (-21.9%). It should be noted that general cargo accounts for 6.6% of the total throughput.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port is the leader in terms of general cargo throughput with 7.6 mn tons, down 16.9% year-on-year.
Sea Port of St. Petersburg saw its general cargo traffic decrease by 14.2% up to 4.7 mn tons.
Commercial Port of Vladivostok handled 3.4 mn tons, up 7.5% year-on-year.
General cargo throughput via Novorossiysk Shiprepair Yard declined by 22.7% down to 2.3 mn tons.
Tuapse Commercial Sea Port handled 2.1 mn tons, down 14.4% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5. Azov Sea Port saw its general cargo traffic surge 26.3-fold, Rostov Multimodal Sea Port was up 17.2-fold, KGS-Port in Temryuk was up 10.1-fold.
The largest decrease in general cargo traffic was in Sodrugestvo-Soy in Kaliningrad (-99.3%), Kerch Commercial Port (-96.8%) and Armada in Astrakhan (-94.7%).
