According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the total cargo throughput of all the Russian sea ports during January-October 2019 amounted to 701.6 mn tons (+3.2%). Five terminals handled 216.8 mn tons or 30.9% of this volume.
All the terminals in the Top-5 handled crude oil and oil products.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port is the leader of cargo throughput. Its cargo traffic decreased by 4.3% down to 62.2 mn tons.
CPC-R in Novorossiysk saw its cargo traffic grow by 4% up to 52 mn tons.
Cargo traffic via Primorsk Commercial Port amounted to 51.8 mn tons, up 16.7% year-on-year.
Cargo throughput via Transneft Kozmino Port in Vostochny increased by 9.5% up to 27.7 mn tons.
Neva Pipeline Company in Ust-Luga handled 23 mn tons, up 0.9% year-on-year.

It should be noted that the stevedores which demonstrated the highest growth did not get into the Top-5. Streletskoe Stevedoring Company in Astrakhan saw its cargo traffic surge 7.4-fold, Rostov Multimodal Sea Port was up 5-fold, K-Market Kozmino in Vostochny was up 4.8-fold.
The largest decrease in cargo traffic was in Expeditor (Azov) (-98.6%), Yuzhny Sea Port (Azov) (-92.4%) and Arkhangelsk River Port (-90.5%).
