According to SeaNews’ PortStat online analytic service, in August 2019 container traffic via the Russian North-Western sea ports grew by 3.1% year-on-year. Export was up 0.7%, and import up 5.5%.
Big Port of St. Petersburg
Container throughput via the Big Port of St. Petersburg increased by 2% year-on-year. Import was up 4.4%. Export remained much on the previous year’s level (-0.4%).

Ust-Luga
Container traffic via Ust-Luga in August 2019 declined by 12.7% year-on-year. Export dropped 76.2% while import was up 2.6%.

Kaliningrad
Container traffic via Kaliningrad surged 15.5% year-on-year in August. Export grew by 16.3% and import by 14.6%.
