According to the RF Federal Customs Service’ statistics, during January-April 2019 Russia exported some 87.2 mn tons of crude oil, up 1.8% year-on-year. In terms of value, crude oil export declined by 0.4% down to $39.4 bn.
Oil products export in January-April decreased by 6.4% down to 49.6 mn tons. In terms of value it was down 8.2% to $23.2 bn.
Diesel fuel export made about 18.1 mn tons in terms of tonnage (-6.3% year-on-year) and $10.1 bn in terms of value (-6.3%).
Petrol export in January-April dropped 13.9% year-on-year down to 1.6 mn tons worth $820.5 mn, down 19.6%.
In April alone, crude oil export from Russia made some 20.8 mn tons, down 12.9% year-on-year and down 12.4% month-on-month. In terms of value, it declined by 10.9% year-on-year and by 7.6% month-on-month down to $10.1 bn.
Oil products export in April was down 6.3% year-on-year and down 9.9% month-on-month amounting to 11.6 mn tons. In terms of value it was down 7% year-on-year and 8.9% month-on-month making $5.6 mn.
Diesel fuel export declined by 22.5% year-on-year and by 29.3% month-on-month amounting to 3.8 mn tons worth $2.2 bn (-21.2% year-on-year and -27.8% month-on-month).
Car petrol export increased by 20.7% year-on-year and by 16.5% month-on-month up to 470.1 thousand tons worth $244.2 mn (+14.2% year-on-year and +13.8% month-on-month).
Natural gas export in January-April amounted to 76.2 cbm, up 4.4% year-on-year. In terms of value, it grew by 3.1% up to $16.9 bn.
Liquefied natural gas export during the first four months of the year surged 2.1-fold year-on-year up to 23.1 mn cbm, its value was up 2.5-fold making $3.6 bn.
In April, natural gas export decreased by 21.4% year-on-year and 20.1% month-on-month down to 14.7 cbm worth $2.9 bn (-25.8% year-on-year and -22.8% month-on-month)
LNG export in April amounted to 311.4 mn cbm, up 8.1-fold year-on-year and 4.4-fold month-on-month. In terms of value, LNG export surged 9.7-fold year-on-year and 3.3-fold month-on-month making $1.7 bn.
