According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January 2019 Russia’s export of vodka made 123.9 decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit.
This is 58.8% above the figure for January 2018, and the same percentage down compared to December 2018.
In terms of value, vodka export in January 2019 was up 74.5% year-on-year and down 51.1% month-on-month making $8.9 mn.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in January 2019 grew by 7.1% year-on-year dropping 43.9% month-on-month to make $154.1 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import was down by 17.8% year-on-year and 84.8% month-on-month to $3.7 mn.
