Tom Hyldelund Nominated as Global Ports Director

  • Global Ports Investments has announced that an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Members of the Company will be held in Limassol, Cyprus on March 22, 2019 to consider and, if thought fit, pass the following resolutions:

    1. To approve the resignation of Mrs. Iana Penkova Boyd as a Director of the Company with immediate effect and to terminate her authorities as Director of the company with immediate effect.
    2. To elect Mr. Tom Hyldelund as a Director of the Company until the next Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the company with no remuneration.

    Tom Hyldelund Nominated as Global Ports DirectorUntil September 2018, T.Hyldelund was CEO of Maersk Line Eastern Europe. 

    T.Hyldelund started his career in 1990 with Maersk Line in Denmark as a trainee with the A.P.Moller – Management program, held management positions in Holland, Latvia and Russia, where he was Managing Director of the line’s St. Petersburg office, in 1998 he joined Stimorol as Managing Director of its Lithuanian operations.

    In 2000, he became CEO for MSC Scandinavia, and in 2009, he returned to Maersk Line as Managing Director for Russia, the Baltic States and Finland, expanding his role to cover Eastern Europe in 2016.
