TransContainer has launched a new block train service from Rostov to the Batareinaya station in Irkutsk in Siberia.
The first train carrying chemicals and consumer goods arrived at the destination on March 12.
The transit time made 7 days, the distance is 5,658 km.
The service will be fortnightly, the next train is scheduled to depart on March 20.
