Russia’s export of cars during the full year of 2018 amounted to 93.5 thousand units, increasing 10.8% year-on-year.
Truck export, according to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, was up 2.7% to 15 thousand units.
In terms of value, car export declined 2.5% down to $1.29 bn. Truck export, on the contrary, increased 10.4% up to $370.8 mn.
Car import grew by 9.5% up to 293.1 thousand units. Truck import declined 17.6% down to 26.2 thousand units.
In terms of value, car import was up 8.4% to some $7.3 bn. Truck import remained on the level of 2017 making $1.99 bn.
