Arkas and Maersk Change Black Sea Reefer Service Rotation

  • Arkas Line and Sealand Europe & Med (formerly, SeaGo Line) have announced changes to their seasonal Black Sea reefer service Russian Express Service (REX) operated jointly via VSA.

    By the first week of January the service will start calling El Dekheila terminal in Alexandria, Egypt. The new rotation of the weekly service will be: Ashdod – El Dekheila – Novorossiysk – Ashdod. In Novorossiysk, the service calls at NUTEP terminal.

    The transit time from El Dekheila to Novorossiysk is 4 days, and from Ashdod to Novorossiysk 6 days. The service is operated with two vessels equipped with 600 reefer plugs each, one from each of the VSA partners.a
