FESCO и DB Cargo запустят транзитные перевозки

  • FESCO Transportation Group and DB Cargo Russija Сo. Ltd , a 100% subsidiary DB Cargo AG, have reached an agreement on cooperation in providing multimodal container service between dry ports in China and Europe via sea ports in Kaliningrad Region.

    The document was signed between DB Cargo Russija and FESCO Integrated Transport (FIT), part of FESCO Group.

    The agreements envisages developing a transportation route, finalizing conditions, organizing a regular train service from Chengdu, Chóngqìng, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha and Suzhou to Kaliningrad, shipping cargo from Kaliningrad to Rostock and Hamburg by sea and carrying its by rail to the destination in Europe.

    The parties agreed on sharing containers and rolling stock. FESCO will be the operator on the 1520 rail gauge part of the route, and DB Cargo on the 1435 standard rail infrastructure.

    The service is scheduled to be launched in early 2019. The transit time will make 15-18 days.
