According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-August 2018 Russia’s export of vodka made 1.23 mn decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit.
This is 1.8% below the figure for the same period of 2017.
In terms of value, vodka export in January-August was up 4.5% to $81.9 mn.
In August, vodka export decreased 4.8% month-on-month down to 189.4 thousand decalitres.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-August grew by 16.5% year-on-year up to $1.6 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import was slightly down by 0.1% to $100 mn.
