APL/FESCO Joint Service Makes First Call at Vostochny

  • On September 4, the newly launched joint service operated by APL and FESCO, Japan Russia Express (JRX), made it first call at Vostochny at the Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company terminal.

    The 712 TEU MV “Prosrich” operated by APL left Yokohama on August 27, the second vessel in the service, FESCO-operated 700 TEU “Contship Ace” departed Yokohama on August 31.

    APL/FESCO Joint Service Makes First Call at VostochnyAccording to VSC, the first vessel in the service delivered to Vostochny industrial machinery, medical equipment and auto parts and loaded timber products, metal alloys and other cargoes for Japan. The “Prosrich” unloaded 149 TEU and loaded 204 TEU at VSC. 

    The port rotation of JRX is as follows: Vostochny (VSC) – Vladivostok – Yokohama – Shimizu – Nagoya – Kobe – Pusan and back to Vostochny (VSC).

    The transit time from Yokohama to Vostochny is 7 days, to Vladivostok – 9 days, from Kobe to Vostochny – 4 days, to Vladivostok – 6 days. The transit time for export cargoes from the Russian ports to Yokohama will be 3 to 5 days.
