In January 2018, Russia exported some 2.48 mn tons of wheat and meslin, up 27.6% year-on-year.
In terms of value, wheat and meslin export grew 25.7% to $436.5 mn.
Wheat import into Russia declined 19.6% down to 21.1 thousand tons. In terms of value, it amounted to $1.6 mn, 38.5% below the January 2016 result.
Corn import was up 47.1% year-on-year physically to 10.4 mn tons, and up 59.1% in terms of value to $44.4 mn.
