In January this year, Russia exported some 11.3 mn tons of coal, up 18.3% year-on-year.
In terms of value, coal export grew 36.9% making $904.2 mn.
According to the RF Federal Customs Service, coke and coal char export increased 26.5% to 312.4 thousand tons.
In terms of value, it grew even more significantly, up 2.2 times to $79.7 mn.
