UTLC Posts 75% Growth

  • United Transport Logistics Company has posted preliminary operations results for 2017. The transit carried across the territories of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus from/to Asia to/from Europe amounted to 175,000 TEU, exceeding the previous year’s volume 75%.

    All in all, the company loaded 2102 block trains in 2017.

    In 2017, UTLC operated on 48 regular routes against 19 routes in 2016. The company dispatches up to 15 block trains daily.

    In the framework of the XL‑train project, UTLC organized over 115 long trains including up to 100 conventional wagons, which allows increasing efficiency of infrastructure utilization and cut the costs.
