According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, during January-April 2018, Russia exported 59.9 mn tons of coal, up 16.9% year-on-year.
Coal export in April made 13.6 mn tons, dropping 31.9% compared to March.
In terms of value, coal export during the first 4 months of 2018 grew 25.8% year-on-year up to some $4.8 bn.
Coke and coal char export in January-April declined 2.8% down to 1.03 mn tons in terms of tonnage.
In terms of value, coke and coal char export surged 43% up to $268.7 mn.
