RZD Logistics has published operational and financial result for 2017.
The company handled 61 mn tons of cargo (cargo carried for RZD holding excluded), 8% more than during 2016.
Container volumes carried in cooperation with Far East Land Bridge (FELB), a subsidiary of RZD Logistics, exceeded 142 thousand TEU, up 57% year-on-year.
This figure includes 1.9 thousand TEU of export cargo (+47%), 11.4 thousand TEU of import (up more than twice) and 123 thousand of transit (+68%).
Small and consolidated cargo traffic grew 15% year-on-year to make 273.5 thousand tons.
Earnings grew 39% up to 33.4 bn rubles, profit for the year surged almost 2.5-fold up to 1.08 bn rubles (according to the Russian accounting standards).
