According to the RF Federal Customs Service statistics, in January 2018 Russia exported 78.021 decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit.
Physical export of vodka dropped for the first time since last May, down 27.4% year-on-year.
In terms of value, vodka export also decreased 19% down to $5.1 mn.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import, on the contrary, increased 30.7% year-on-year up to $143.9 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import declined sharply by 58.7% down to $4.5 mn.
