In January 2018, Russia exported 970.9 thousand tons of nitric fertilizers, up 3.7% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export grew, according to the RF Federal Customs Service, 30.3% up to some $200.3 mn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 769.8 thousand tons, 39.1% above the result for January 2017. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export surged 52.6% to $203.3 mn dollars.
At the same time, potash fertilizers export dropped sharply, down 94.5% to just 23.1 thousand tons in terms of tonnage and down 93.1% to $5.1 mn in terms of value.
