In January-November 2017, Russia exported 17.7 cbm of logs, which is 3.1% than during the same period of 2016 года. In terms of value, logs export grew 8.9% to $1.3 bn.
Sawn timber export increased 11.5% year-on-year amounting to 16.59 mn tons. In terms of value, sawn timber export grew 25.4% to $3.7 bn.
Plywood export made almost 2.3 mn cbm, 0.3% below the 2016 level. In terms of value its export increased 15.9% to some $1 bn.
Wood pulp export declined slightly (-0.6%) to 1.9 bn tons. In terms of value, on the contrary, it grew 8.4% to $964.9 mn.
Newsprint export amounted to 1.06 mn tons, up 7.4% year-on-year. In terms of value newsprint export increased 10.9% to $438 mn.
