FESCO Transport Group has launched a seasonal service branded FESCO Amur River Bridge (FARB) between Fuyuan in China and Khabarovsk in Russia on the Amur River.
During the navigation period, which lasts till late October, inland ships will carry import and export freight with a weekly frequency and a transit time of six hours.
The FARB service is linked to the railway service network operated by FESCO from Khabarovsk to Moscow and Vladivostok as well as with other routes.
The first vessel departed from Fuyuan on August 17, FESCO said.
