Экспорт угля и кокса, 8 месяцев 2021: в августе вывоз угля и кокса значительно вырос

Russia’s Coal Export and Import Up in August

  • According to the RF Federal Customs Service, in January-August 2021 Russia exported 136.6 mn tons of coal, up 12.9% year-on-year. In terms of value, coal export amounted to over $9.6 bn, up 23.3% year-on-year.

    Coal import during the period under report made 14.3 mn tons, up 1.8% year-on-year, worth $264.1 mn, up 34.2% year-on-year.

    Coke and coal char export in January-August 2021 made 2.1 mn tons, up 42.7% year-on-year, worth $584.1 mn, up 2.2-fold year-on-year.

    In August, coal export made 20.2 mn tons, up 25.8% year-on-year and up 39.2% month-on-month. Value-wise, coal export increased by 77.7% year-on-year and by 53.3% month-on-month making $1.7 bn.

    Coke and coal char export in August amounted to 280.8 thousand tons, up 47.7% year-on-year and up 40.3% month-on-month. In terms of value it was worth $98.8 mn, up 2.9-fold year-on-year and up 57.6% month-on-month.
