According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-June 2021 Russia’s export of vodka made 925.1 thousand decalitres scaled down to 100% spirit, up 1.7% year-on-year, physically, and $62.1 mn, down 0.2%, in terms of value.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import during January-June grew by 26.5% year-on-year to $1.4 bn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in January-June 2021 increased by 50% up to $42.9 mn.
In June, Russia exported 224.8 thousand decalitres of vodka, down 9.3% year-on-year but up 20% month-on-month, worth $15.3 mn, down 12.6% year-on-year and up 22.4% month-on-month.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages import in June was up 29.8% year-on-year and down 2% month-on-month to $254.8 mn.
Cigarettes and cigars import in June 2021 was up 2.3-fold year-on-year and up 21.5% month-on-month to $11.3 mn.
