A new universal grain handling complex is to be built in the Northern Breakwater area in the sea port of Taganrog in South Russia. The project has been approved by the Main Department of State Expertise.
The project to be implemented in two stages envisages building two berths, dredging and developing engineering communication networks. The terminal capacity will make 270 thousand tons per annum.
According to SeaNews PORTSTAT analytic online service, the port of Taganrog handled 425 thousand tons of grain during 7 months of 2021.
