Primorsk Universal Handling Complex Project Gets Approval from Main Department of State Expertise

  • The Main Department of State Expertise has approved the project to build Primorsk Universal Handling Complex in the Gulf of Finland in Leningrad Oblast north of St. Petersburg.

    The regulator concluded that the project documentation and the engineering survey reports comply with the technical requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation, including environmental legislation.

    Primorsk Universal Handling Complex Ltd., is currently deliberating developing other infrastructure objects, including roads and railway to the port, as well as blocks of apartments.

    The construction is scheduled to start in Q3 2021. The project capacity of the new port is to make 65 mn tons of dry cargo per annum.
