Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port has started assembling three new portal cranes made by SMM. The 63-tonscapacity units will be mounted at Berths 8 and 19 and in the rear zone of Berth 7.
The new cranes are energy efficient, they have a frequency control system, high-precision cargo positioning, improved strength of the support metal constructions, and an increased grab mode capacity, NCSP said.
The driver’s cabin is vibration and noise protected and equipped with a conditioner and a heating system. The modern ergonomic control panel makes operations simpler and more efficient.
