According to the RF Federal Customs Service’s statistics, in January-November 2020 Russia exported 12.3 mn tons of nitric fertilizers, down 3.8% year-on-year. In terms of value, nitric fertilizers export declined by 15.2% down to $2.2 bn.
Mixed fertilizers export amounted to 9.7 mn tons, almost as much as in 2019. In terms of value, mixed fertilizers export decreased by 15.9% down to $2.4 bn.
Potash fertilizers export during January-November 2020 grew by 9.1% up to 8.7 mn tons. In terms of value, it declined by 20% down to $1.6 bn.
In November, nitric fertilizers export decreased by 26.6% year-on-year and by 9.7% month-on-month making 824.1 thousand tons worth $155.5 mn (down 31.7% year-on-year and down 6.3% month-on-month).
Mixed fertilizers export increased by 3% year-on-year and declined by 14.9% month-on-month to make 816.5 thousand tons worth $207 mn, up 11.8% year-on-year and down 13.2% month-on-month.
Potash fertilizers export made 783.4 thousand tons, down 4.1% year-on-year and down 23.1% month-on-month. In terms of value, it decreased by 32.7% year-on-year and by 21.6% month-on-month to make $138.7 mn.
